The Huntsville Police Department would like to notify the citizens of Huntsville about a scam currently going around. A person stating they represent Entergy is calling residences and businesses stating that you are past due or delinquent on an account. They then request that in order to correct the delinquency or bring your account up to date, you need to go to either Walgreens or CVS and purchase Green Dot Cards or Money Pak cards. If you receive a phone call of this nature at your home or business, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THE CARDS, instead contact Detective Scott Mitchell at 936-291-5480 so that he may document the call made to you.
