The Impact A Hero Weekend is getting ready for its 10th year in Texas. They have room for 7 wounded OIF or OEF heroes and their family members (up to a spouse and two children) to attend the Impact A Hero Weekend in the Greater Houston Area. They would fly the families in a private jet in on the afternoon of May 16th and fly out the afternoon of May 19th. The focus is on a relaxing, non-stressful VIP 5 star event honoring the military heroes and their spouses. The weekend will include a casual welcome dinner, 5k Walk, Run Wheel at Reliant Stadium (where the Houston Texans play), dining experience at the Taste of Texas restaurant, Impact A Hero Gala dinner at Reliant Stadium, Impact A Hero Golf Challenge which includes golf instruction by golf pro Peter Jacobsen and a round golf at Champions Golf Club, and The Caregivers CAP Program where spouses are treated to manicures, pedicures, facials and massages. #ImpactAHero Please visit impactahero.org for more information.
