The Ination Patrons: They never play new music. The music has been the same forever. It shows that when unfamiliar new music is played, most of you are programmed to walk out on a song without actually taking it in. Considering that within the last 3 months I have introduced 16 new tracks (not including the new tracks from Dj Darks Choir & DJ Sarah Monster), yet I still see the words above quite often. Its laughable. Hate to tell ya, but thats what Top 40 club-goers do... Dance strictly to the hits and BAIL when others do. Some are scared to challenge themselves when the unknown is bumping through the speakers. Darkness is where we are supposed to thrive; THE UNFAMILIAR (as in unfamiliar new music). True individuals are leaders who set the pace. Do you see the half-shaved hair cuts; the mowhawks, tattoos and piercings? The electronic/industrial influence in modern day music? BEFORE Hollywood actors and musicians made it a trend, it was gothy-punk kids doing it at a time when everyone judged them. Now, everyone does it...the same things we were judged for are now very acceptable and over-saturated. Once it became acceptable, there was no need for paper-individuals to shine when they could just be comfortable. So, this is my challenge to YOU! In an age where being an individual is an over-saturated fad-statement more than it is personified, I challenge you to exemplify the true meaning of INDIVIDUALITY and ART. I challenge you to dance to new music, Be the leader. Show off that new outfit you MADE with your OWN HANDS!!! Where are the poets; the writers and painters that used to grace our events? Are you scared? Be art. Live it. My eyes and arms are open to you...Im legitimately trying to seek you out. I want to talk with you. I want to hang with you.
