The Israeli occupation savage army have broken into Odehs house in East Jerusalem and arrested my friend Obay Odeh. Obay was arrested as a teenager in 2004 for 4 years in Israeli jails and was subjected to different types of physical and psychological torture like the rest of our Palestinian political prisoners who now number more than 6500. Our people in Jeruaslem are enduring a systematic process of ethnic cleansing, practiced through arbitrary detention of children, young, and elderly people, intensive and aggressive night raids of peoples houses, and restrictive and racist laws. Obay is attached to some of my most precious memories that I cherish from the only night I somehow managed to spend in Jerusalem. A night that felt like a dream. Loai was released in Shalit prisoners exchange in 2011 and expelled to the Gaza Strip.
