The Jacob Generation (Psalm 24:6)This is the generation who seeks the face of God, that is, His presence..The generation that seeks to walk in holiness of life (clean hands) and purity of heart, without bowing to the idols of our time; and the generation that cries out for the King of glory to reign, and for His glory to return to His church.. Those whose souls follow hard after Thee (Him)..Who dare to take firmly take hold of Him and His promises and say..I will not let you go unless you bless me.. In Genesis 32, God met Jacob right where he was, at a place he later named Bethel, and gave him his first encounter. Through a dream, He showed Jacob the reality of heaven and the reality of his calling on earth. It was then that Jacob was met with God’s promise, and it was then that Jacob began to live according to his calling...rather than his name.
