The KINGDOM of GOD is GROWING though it is opposed Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43 The Kingdom of God is growing though it is opposed The Kingdom of God is never in a CRISIS Your country might be in crisis but The Lord’s Kingdom is never in Crisis Your life might be in a crisis but The Kingdom that is within you is not in a crisis! The PLANS of the LORD will STAND This Parable tells us why the presence of [Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43] The Kingdom did not take over the world— The audience of Jesus were eager for the Separation Between the sons of light and the sons of darkness— The Jews wanted to see the Romans destroyed Jesus did not come to start a crusade— His task was not to crush the Roman Empire The gospel is not to be forced upon anyone Unfortunately, special efforts to preach the Gospel are often called “crusades,” even today Paul said, “God forbid that I should glory, [except] in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom The world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world” (Gal 6:14). Paul’s emphasis is clearly upon the One, who Was crucified, not on the means of His death— How many people emphasize the Cross rather than the One who died upon it? Jesus simply said to Jews and Gentiles, “Follow Me,” This is an invitation that may be accepted or rejected The Kingdom of God is growing though it is opposed The church will always have both the True and the false believer in its ranks— Counterfeits will appear genuine at the beginning— “Christ would rather permit tares than endanger wheat” Although God has His enemies He is pleased not to deal with them until later— He allows both to grow so The Church moves forward even in an imperfect state The Church is still here... You are the Church
