The KPMG forensic audit report and KRA export report on MSC are out.No matter how strong you are when you read through it ,it is like fiction but then a tear must drop following the revelations of atrocities committed by the then MSC senior management against our people .Money paid for sugar by merchants was banked in a suspense account.It was close to Kshs 1.1 billion.The merchants never got the sugar and the money vanished.That is what made former MD Kebati and his comrades in crime to be shown the door.More interestingly MSC never exported any crystal of sugar to international markets in the period under review but some KRA staff colluded to have export papers stamped to show otherwise.Now the internal audit department was disbanded and an external auditor appointed who served for long as the plunder continued.The said auditors were sacked at last AGM.Keep it here.Mambo bado.
