The Kings Highway will remain open today. Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) is advising motorists that slope stabilisation work on the Highway has been suspended today due to localised flooding on the detour route. Planned closures for today on the Kings Highway will not take place. Palarang Council has advised Nerriga Road is closed between Braidwood and Nerriga due to flooding. RMS will reassess and advise as soon as possible if work will continue tomorrow. It is possible this will extend the work but any closures needed after this week will be carried after school holidays. RMS will advise the community if this occurs.
