The Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival is one of the first and biggest - TopicsExpress

The Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival is one of the first and biggest environmental film festivals in Malaysia. In the last six years, the Festival has reached out to approximately 46,000 Malaysians through its film screenings at selected venues all over the Peninsula. Conceptualized and organized by non-profit environmental organization, EcoKnights, the Festival is used as a tool to facilitate building a nation of ecologically conscious businesses, individuals, and communities through on-ground activities and film screenings focused on critical environmental issues. Partnering with important sustainability leaders in the country, the KLEFF is steadfastly paving the way to encourage and inspire grassroots communities to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. Award-winning environmental films, interactive learning classrooms, and creative clusters within the Festival help to stress the urgent need to take positive actions today. In addition, the KLEFF also works closely with Malaysian higher institutes of learning with the aim of assisting in the development and progression of environmental communication. The Festival offers diverse and unique opportunities such as film screenings, workshops and talks on sustainable living, fun and creative nature craft activities for children, performances, exhibitions and fairground attractions. In 2014, the Festival will be held at Publika from October 17th-19th 2014. FREE ADMISSION Click below for the full schedule:- ecofilmfest.my/
