The LA Times op-ed page was unusually informative today. Doyle McManus, probably the Times best writer, says that Obabas administration is about as bad as GWBushes in terms of favoring political hacks over administrative competence. Who thought that he could hit such a low standard? Arne Duncan and Tim Geithner are the two most disappointing to me. They could have made a difference. I guess Eric Holder was better than average even though his recored is mixed, at best. sigh :(
