The Liberal party have sent people on their mailing list (I am not a member) a request to donate and enter a contest to have breakfast with Justin and one senior advisor, providing an opportunity to pitch your one big idea. Attending a lunch and speech with Hilary Clinton, as well as briefly meeting her is also part of the package. That had me wondering, what would be the best big idea to pitch? I think I would pick accelerating the development of Nuclear Fusion. It could have so many benefits: reduce pollution, reduce risks from radioactive storage, reduce greenhouse gases, reduce wars over territory having oil, reduce destruction of environment (oil sands), and providing a stable source of power for everyone on earth.
