The Lord did not allow David to build Him a house. God chose and promised to build a house for David. The house was not going to be build of quarried rocks like the Temple by Solomon. The house God was to build would consist of "lively stones"[1peter 2:5]. This was no mere palace for a king; rather, it was to be a building of spiritual construction that would house the king of kings. God did have the plan of redemption long before the manifestation of Our Lord Jesus. We ought to know God looks at us from a spiritual perspective. How deep are we rooted, connected and attracted to secular,phyical and materialistic things? Are we "deadly stones" or "lively stones"? Do we qualify to be build into the spiritual house?....Yes ....Only if U are a "living stone" ~~~~....~~~~Oh Lord help me to be that stone that qualifies to fit in your Spiritual House... Amen.
