The Lords Supper- when did it become The Lords Insubstantial Snack? We in the church put so much emphasis on doing what scripture tells us to do (breaking unleavened bread and doing it on the first day of the week), but when it comes to actually partaking of our Lords body and blood, we, for the sake of convenience and cost, dont treat it as the meal it was, but, instead, treat the event more as a symbol than communion. When did we start holding convenience as more important than biblical example??
