The Main South CDC and Woodland Academy run a summer program called the “Virtual Library,” which provides electronic readers to Woodland Academy students during the summer in an effort to mitigate the summer reading slide. Today, four lucky Woodland students who read the most books over the summer were the recipients of brand new Kindle Fire tablets! City Manager Augustus helped hand out the prizes.
