The Moroccan Green Left Party report of the September 5th, 2010 meeting In its ordinary meeting held on September 5th, 2010 in Rabat, the national coordinating board discussed different missions of the Moroccan Green Left in the light of the results of the founding conference of the party and the general circumstances of the country in different levels, domains and obligations. The focus was based mainly on the societal challenges, the finance law project and the justice reformation work shop. The meeting also insisted on implementing transparency, to fight corruption and highlighting regionalism. According to the common convictions of all the members in what concerns the specifications of the national transitory period which was marked by the declaration of May 9th, 2010 to be needing a daring political urge that cuts off any relation with the past to be open to true citizenship and to a nation of rights and institutions, the aim in this, is to guarantee a democratic transition, in the near future, with the most effective means and the least cost to achieve security, citizenship and honor in Morocco. The national coordinating board considers the following entrance, among others, to achieve this transition: _ to establish and implement the questioning principal to fight all kinds of corruption especially in the field of the general policy and institutions and to encourage the national initiatives, and the application of law for dealing with selectivity to put these directives into practice. _ to promote the theme of the environment and the ecological system to guarantee good living conditions for the future generations. Water, food, energy and air should be included in any developing project of the Moroccan constitution because the environment is noticed to be characterized by irresponsibility, recklessness, anarchy, negligence and greed in exploiting the land and national resources (depriving the inhabitants of Ben Smim of water, the transferring of the forest extents of Tangiers, the environment equilibrium flaw of the region of Saaidia). _ not limiting the efforts only to enlarge the scope of the middle class society. Instead a bold social policy should be stated to reduce poverty, seclusion and marginalization of many regions, villages and neighborhoods, using o strict security policy governed by law and the implicated national institutions, the aim in this is to guarantee security for all citizens, and to stand against any social phenomenon that can be justified not only by poverty but also by crime. This latter is spreading out in different types, and becoming more dangerous and menacing to the social system. _to foster wisdom and objectivity in the light of the historical, cultural and ecological and psychological levels in dealing with the issue of enlarged regionalization. In this respect a big discussion should be started to an effective strategy to achieve a regionalization which is one of the constituents of collaborative and cooperative democracy, and to constitute a general framework that guarantees honor, citizenship and security. This would lead to an everlasting and peaceful resolution to the issue of the region of Sahara, on the basis of the Moroccan proposal to put an end to all political politicized activities and opportunist skirmishes created by some neighboring countries. _ to open a national debate based on objectivity and responsibility to set a national contract about a fair and democratic electoral system that is suitable for the current circumstances, and for the national and the social conditions to take advantage of and reinforce the games drawn from the previous elections experiences e.g. to correct and promote the statue of political parties. _ to try to develop the field of information and communication to play its educational role to be actively aware of the continuous transformations in different domains e.g. the social, cultural, political etc… and to take all the measures to guarantee the practice of journalism in the frame of a nationalistic values and rights. While the Moroccan Green Left Party is insisting on these entries, it considers that its personification in reality needs the efforts of different organizations that believe in values of modernism, democracy, ecology, social fairness and the respect of pluralism to abolish violence and hatred far from any narcissist or egocentric tendency, or the logic of accusing the other of dishonesty and other stereotypes. Instead of this, everyone should share the responsibility to identify the fields, contents and objectives of the collaborative work. Suitable ways and mechanisms should be created to join the efforts, especially by the left and the sustainable development forces, to achieve all the missions that have priority at the present time, and to preserve an important position for Morocco in the world which itself needs to more democratic and more humanistic through renewing its bodies and mechanisms and to pursue the judicial development at democratic evolutions for different countries and societies. The national coordinating board is kindly requesting all the members of the party to work hard for the foundation of the organizing bodies of the party both locally and regionally, especially the members of the federal board to prepare for the present time program of the party and internal statue project as well as its regional document in its periodical meeting to be held on the 9th and 10th, 2010 in Rabat. The coordinating board is considering carefully what is happening in the Middle East; especially in Palestine would like to renew its principal positions towards Palestinian people’s right. The board also hopes for a progress in the Palestino-Israeli’s negotiations to come an everlasting peaceful solution that guarantees the right of independence for the Palestinians and the establishment of their own country with Al Quods its capital city. Let’s protect the earth and life continues. There is what deserves life on this earth. The National Coordinating Board Rabat, September 5th, 2010
