The NACO-AV pre-conference at OLAC/MOUG 2014 will be presented by Peter Lisius. Peter Lisius is the Music and Media Catalog Librarian at Kent State University. Formats for which he is responsible include music scores, sound recordings, video recordings and electronic resources. He began his duties as NACO-AV Coordinator in July 2013, contributing access points to that funnel on a regular basis. He is also an independent contributor of names and name-title access points for the NACO Music Project, and a member of the Subject Access Subcommittee of the Music Library Association’s Bibliographic Control Committee. He is also serving on the CAPC Taskforce to Revise the Guide for Cataloging DVDs using RDA. He has written articles for Cataloging and Classification Quarterly, both collaboratively and solely-authored. He co-edited the book Directions in Music Cataloging with Richard Griscom. He has presented on cataloging-related topics both locally and nationally. Peter holds a bachelors degree in music and history from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University-Bloomington (with a specialization in music librarianship), and a Master of Arts in Music Theory from Kent State University. Prior to his employment at Kent State, Peter was a Senior Librarian/Music Cataloger at the New York Public Library.
