The NAM is finally almost in range to hekp forecast next weeks potential winter storm. What I have seen so far from the NAM as of the latest update 00Z(11pm eastern): The NAM brings a swath of light snows to much of the area especially central parts of the state to start on Tuesday morning, this is an issue as models havent agreed yet on the timeing of this system. Temperatures will REALLY REALLY be a tough one to call. Every model Ive seen by far suggests temperatures DO NOT get out of the 30s for highs on these days. This will suggest a wide variety of senarios but for now I think its a safe call to say things start off as a very cold rain then switching over to snow in the late afternoon/evening hours on Tuesday..... Accumulations likely. Stay tuned for more updates this weekend. P.S. My official winter weather forecast will be available on December 1st. Ive had to push the date back a bit for personal reasons.
