The Narrow Gate. (Monday 25 November 2013) Brethren if we know ourselves it would be easy to know YaHWeH. How can we claim to know Yahweh, His Son and the Holy Spirit, when we have not made any effort to know ourselves, our spouses, our siblings and those we associate with who are earthlings like us. Many a time we say after a deed has been done I dont know what happened I am sorry something took over me or I did not know that he was capable of doing this or that If we have done the unexpected why then do we have to crack our heads trying to figure out what happened? Is it not a case of denial and finding a fault where blame can be apportioned? Yet we know according to the Bible that The thief has come to kill to still and to destroy,(John 10:10) Do you know who this thief is? Its not your spouse, sibbling or your neigbour but the devil who is roaming around like a lion trying to find anyone he may devour.(1Peter 5:8) Remember our own salvation is based on Grace which encompass forgiveness of which the promise of life eternity depends on and Satan knows that and he puts unforgiveness at the entrance of Salvation and whips up emotions, bringing up the past thereby losing our focus on the job at hand (Salvation). Sifting out the debris of the gone and buried past. One cannot say I have forgiven (in case of a spouse) but I want a divorce. My brother if you are that one you dont know what forgiveness means. Imagine YaHWeH saying I have forgiven you, but you will still not enter in my Kingdom despite your repentence Then that forgiveness becomes null and void a case of hardened heart resulting in the door to salvation blocked for you. (Matthew 6:15) If we do not acknowledge that it will be difficult to forgive others or to forgive ourselves. What we need to know is: Sin live with us and we all sin•••{8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.:-) 1John 1:8HRB}•••That YaHWeH is holy and we aught to be like Him then we are able to communicate with Him•••{ 16 Because it has been written, Be holy, because I am holy:-) 1Peter 1:16HRB}••• How then can we be holy when we are sinners•••{ 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of YAHWEH,:-) Romans 3:23HRB}•••It is only possible through our daily comfession to YaHWeH•••{9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.:-) 1John 1:9HRB}•••YaHWeH will then turn our bodies into His temple where His Holy Spirit dwell.(1Corinthians 6:19-20).
