The National Executive Committee of APC had its maiden meeting at Abuja on June 26th the meeting was presided over by Chief Oyegun,the attendees spoke intensively about the Ekiti Election and how Gov Fayemi with all his projects and infrastructure development lost the election moreso when he is enjoying the support of all the National and State assembly members from the State except Opeyemi Bamidele, and with full blown cabinet members loyalty,the atendees talk of Jonathan and his PDP plans as ravaging forces that must be checked and that all cracks and crisis within the party must be resolved to avoid to enemies penetrating their camp,the meeting promised that Ekiti will be the only State they will lose to the opposition while new political strategies were introduced and upheld to stall further intrusion,after this the agenda of the meetings went to States with crisis and 14 States were mentioned and Ogun State was one of them and twice Gov Amosun raised his hand to object that there is no crisis in his State but the Chairman failed to recognize him and Amosun was surprised when Buhari and Atiku stood up and attacked him that there is a crisis in his State and that he and his group alone cannot win Ogun State election without Chief Osoba and the National Assembly members that even in Ekiti where everyone stayed together we lost not to talk of your state where you all scattered also in the words of Oyegun he said Chief Osoba is such a big golden fish that we cannot imagine losing to the opposition through defection so it was decided that a high power 7 man delegation should be sent to Osoba to pacify,negotiate and get his terms for peace and harmonise the two faction groups in Ogun State when nomination of the members of the Committee were been named both Tinubu and Akande raised up their hands indicating their interest in being members of the Committee but to the surprise of everyone present the two men were shouted down and said to be part of the problem in the State the members of the Committee include Atiku Abubakar,Audi Ogbe,Rotimi Amechi,Babatunde Fashola and three others and the Committee was given two weeks to complete his assignment and submit report,also in the same vein an association Friends of APC led by Oba Adeposi Bashorun,Oru of Imoru too had plans to meet Chief Osoba to mediate into the cracks,the Oba have the nod of both Amosun and Tinubu to meet Osoba who happened to be his good friend and he is going to Osoba with proposal of 60% to 40% Exco for Osoba and Amosun respectively and return ticket to only Amosun while Osoba take the rest,but will Chief Osoba renege his vow of not having anything to do with Amosun? in fairness Chief Osoba has been under intense pressure from Jonathan and his colleagues at Confab to decamp to PDP having heard and read all Amosun did to him,but he has refused all entreats saying he cant leave the progressives and that moreso he cant work with either Buruji Kashamu or Daniel but the supporters of Chief Osoba are seriously on his neck to let them decamp to SDP or UPN in other for them to actualise their political ambitions but Osoba has knocked out UPN saying How will l go to UPN founded by Fasheun and El Mustapha? Al-Mustapha a man that was alleged to assassinate Kudi Abiola what will l tell the people of Ogun State that Im looking for there but on Friday June 27th Amosun called the meeting of some selected few leaders and his State Excos,the meeting was held at Government House Banquet Hall at the meeting Amosun gave the attendees the feedback of the APC NEC Meeting and talk of his willingness to work and reconcile with Chief Osoba share the Exco with him and his plans to release appointments for Osoba Group,Amosun also talked about his meetings with different segments of the State and his promises to each group and how board appointments,contracts,emoluments,employment and empowerment will soon be everywhere to make party members and citizenry happy,most of those at the meeting encouraged the governor to make good his promises while some members of Amosun Exco even promise to relinquish their party offices if the gesture will bring peace and victory to the party,throughout the meeting Amosun look sober and like zombie,but will Chief Osoba still be able to trust Amosun? is it not said that once beaten twice shy? if Amosun come for first term knowing he has second term to contend with and he is this wicked how will his second term in office be? but wont Osoba respect Atiku,Fashola,Ogbe and others? if Amosun and Osoba at last settle their tiffs where will the likes of Adegbokiki keep their faces? Lastly last week Amosun got a chunk of N500m from the (source) allocation and earmark it for 236 Councillors cars and furniture which they are likely to get by Wednesday next week,ln Labour Party,With the Ogini/Arabambi suit against Daniel Labour Party adjourned to October 20th and INEC deadline for submission of candidates list to close by September ending will Labour Party participate in 2015 elections in Ogun State? or will Mimiko and Dan Inwayawu use their power to settle out of court? or will Labour party merged with PDP as predicted? will Buruji and Daniel be able to work together this time around? more questions but less answer,Have you heard the gist? at last Egbetokun has returned to PDP his reason? he cant leave Alani and Dimeji Bankole,more gist are coming just stayed tune,as soon as Ramadan is over real politicking will start and Watchdog will be there.
