The National Weather Service has isssued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for southwestern Guernsey County & Noble County until 230pm today, June 28, 2013. At 115pm a severe thunderstorm was detected near Cumberland moving East at 20 mph. THis storm is capable of producing quarter size hail & damaging winds in excess of 60mph. Locations impacted include: Cumberland, Belle Valley, Wolf Run State Park, Senecaville, Caldwell, Dudley, Sarahsville, Seneca Lake Park, Summerfield, Harriettsville. This is a dangerous storm so move to a sturdy building & avoid windows. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio, the Weather Channel or local TV & radio for more info on this storm.
