(The Neighbors Tv show) Okay I dont know how long I have been watching show? It is corny and conceptually far fetched, but I will be damm if they didnt find an original approach to a concept that has been done many times before? from MY FAVORITE MARTIAN, MORK AND MINDY, 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN, BIG BANG THEORY. ALF ect. I find myself completely warmed over by this community of comical fun loving Aliens. I live in Southern California where every body is a clueless ZOMBIE in a much darker since. I have fallen victim to that formula of the UNREALISTIC FANTASY FEMALE that HOLLYWOOD has used on its audience for decades. where the the women is drop dead beautiful, fully capable of being independent but sweet and compassionate to a fault and loyal as all out doors! remember BEWITCHED, I DREAM OF JEANIE? or the wife of JACKIE GLEASON, RICKIE RiCARDO, or FRED FLINSTONE. The alien Neighbor wife is so un-believably lovable I feel silly every time I am taken in by her performance.. when she addresss her spouse with that one word it becomes magic, (HUSBAND) and speaking of witch, LARRY BIRD the husband is a real piece of work who never ceases to amuse me with his curious, clueless, but always superior approach to all things human. I love them all, and am I the only one who thought there son Dick Butkiss was a girl? IS that on purpose? And the Mortal daughter next door has a detached sharp witted mouth on her that demands my respect. The last episode was very touching with the interaction of her and her kid sister. I wanted the older one to drop the wall and hug her little sister so bad it started to hurt! I dont like abcs Modern Family, (I call it OBAMAS HOOD FROM HELL) and I just recently decided to stop watching cbss TWO AND A HALF MEN. Because its an assault on the sinces.. So ABC can count on me for this show and LAST MAN STANDING. I give it my official COUCH POTATO seal of approval!
