But I’d like to dedicate this little space to the many chronicles of Nero Wolfe, penned by Rex Stout... Over a prolonged illness this year, I found rereading the exploits of the brilliant, rotund Montenegrin sleuth — and his dashing man of action Archie Goodwin — the literary equivalent of matzoh ball or curried chicken soup, a balm not to be underestimated. — Allan Kellogg
