Unlike the others, On the Spot Magazine has chosen to give emphasis on programs aimed for the benefit and welfare of the greatest number of people and to feature achievements of “unsung and unheralded” personalities. We record and celebrate the achievements of tycoons, doers and shakers in politics, and other individuals who by their deeds, values and achievements inspire others, enrich people’s lives, and validate the faith of our people in themselves, in their government and in their country. The funding of the On the Spot Magazine is sought by way of an institutional advertisements and advertorials of commercial establishments within the area of jurisdiction of the featured local government agency or unit. Mediakoop Productions was conceptualized in 1998 and was registered under the Cooperative Development Authority on 2002. Its president and chief executive officer is Rolando M. Jota, a veteran practicing broadcaster and journalist. Part of its services, aside from the On the Spot Magazine, is the production of audio-visual presentations of documentaries or travelogue, non-linear editing, desktop publishing, public relations, and events management.
