The People. Any government whether Military or Civilian that wants to succeed must work closely with its people. It is the people that bring in any government either by voting or through agitation. .. They are the ones who turn the government policies into reality. ..They develop the economy by cooperating with the government. The government of any type cannot achieve anything without the cooperation of the people. Infact the people can sabotage Government. One of the greatest qualiies of legal tender is acceptability...And if money becomes unacceptable to the people, it automatically loses its values! Like their power over the economy, the people are also the ones that fight intellectual wars at times of insecurity! A fool may think it is the police or the army.... wars like terrorism can only be fought by the people themselves. Remember the 9/11, the Americans fought the terrorists inside the plane to avoid a serious attack on their White House! Americans will never wish that their White House be attacked instead they would rather die. They are the source of useful information to the FBI and CIA. They monitor their environment 24/7, they are eternally vigilant! Americans are not just doing this because of any rhetorical or persuaded patriotism but because of their genuine love and affection for a country that has given them a sense of pride... a country that no other is better than....a country through the efforts of his past and present leaders has made the wellbeing of all Americans its main focus...A country that can go to war because of injustice done to only one out of her hundreds of millions citizens! A country of dedicated leaders....passion for quality services. ..a country of the middle class where job creation is the best tool for measuring government achievements. It is not so in Nigeria and thats why the blood suckers are taking the full advantage of our helpless situation. Terrorists dont operate in a country where people are happy with their country and the government because if they do the people will fight and bring them to their kneels. If the Nigerian government think they can win this war without genuinely winning the people to their sides, they aint seen anything yet! If the political class do not drop their expired ambitions, extreme corruption and promotion of poverty, they will soon perish because their nemesis has come. The immediate solution to this deadly and ravaging incidence is for our political class to make sacrifices, accept their collective failures and retire en-mass from the scene....None of them is exempted because every part of this nation has that ugly face of bad governance at all levels. We have two options to go about this.....One The Rawlings Option which I do not support and Two The IBB Option which I fully support. IBB OPTION : Ban all the old politicians, let the newbreed take over....Institutionalize the 2party system and adopt option A4 system of election. This will calm the nerves or better still cause a war between the Newbreed and the Old Cargoes. ...it will therefore be a better war that will end well and put Nigeria on a good track. Nigerias future must be redeemed!
