The Piast Institute has openings for two interns to work in its research and policy area, in particular with the Polish American Communication Initiative - PACI project. Successful candidates will be university students with majors in History, International Relations, Political Science and other Social Sciences as well as International Business and International Communications. Ability to speak and read Polish is strongly preferred. The internship at the Piast Institute will begin on September 15, 2014 and will be on a part time basis. The days and hours are negotiable. The interns will receive a stipend. The work, depending on skills and interest, will involve research as well as community outreach, writing, editing, fundraising, and pubic presentations. The Piast Institute not only produces data and information but also makes it available to a wide national audience. Advanced computer skills are a plus.
