The Pine Needle Basket Gathering of Blessings was begun in Nov 2014 in Gloucester, MA and finished on Jan 3, 2015 at Merritt Island, FL. The center cabochon is African purple turquoise with yellow, amber, mystic blue, and a soft rose red colored Czech glass 6mm beads swirling throughout the basket. Bees waxed Crawfords Irish Linen Thread in Rose, Lavender, and Plum. The Beeswax was sourced from my own backyard hives in Gloucester, MA. The Pine Needles were sourced on Merritt Island, Florida and preserved in a glycerin bath. The basket is 10.5x10.5 and 2.75 high.
