The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forwards Jayson Megna and Chris Conner and defenseman Simon Despres from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Megna, 23, has played in six NHL games this season, tallying three points (2G-1A). He scored his first NHL goal on Oct. 28 against Justin Peters and the Carolina Hurricanes. Conner, 29, appeared in two games with Pittsburgh earlier this season. He has collected 11 points (6G-5A) in 15 AHL games. Despres, 22, leads WBS defensemen with three goals and ranks second in both assists (8) and points (11) in 17 regular-season games this year. His plus-13 total is tied with teammate Brian Gibbons for the top mark in the AHL.
