The Queenmothership is the honorific privileged status reserved - TopicsExpress

The Queenmothership is the honorific privileged status reserved for Reigning Kings mothers. For the Barotse Kingdom, the Queen Mother is Mwakwai Ngula or Ma Koshi, the titles conferred on the Litungas living Mother upon taking the Throne so that she enjoys participation in His reign. This may help us understand the significance of the Glorious Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Redeemer, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ into Heaven, body and soul at the end of her life on earth. As Mother of God, Mother of the Redeemer, it was fitting that Mary should enjoy the privileges of the Son and be honoured by all creation as the Queen of Heaven. It was fitting that Mary who had borne the Creator as a child in her bosom should have a dwelling-place with God in Heaven seated with the Father and the Son, dwelling in the bridal-chambers of Heaven. Mary merited this for she was heart and soul united with her Son in His joyful, light and paschal mysteries. We too, will merit a share in Jesus resurrection if we intimately get united with Jesus in joyful, sorrowful, and light mysteries as we continue pursuing our salvation.
