The Queensland Rugby League has today confirmed Barlow Park, Cairns, as the venue for the Queensland finals of the prestigious Connell and Meninga Cups. Both finals will be played on Saturday, May 3 as part of a bumper program for Far North fans with the XXXX Rivalry Round match between Intrust Super Cup teams the Northern Pride and Mackay Cutters to also feature on the program. In the Mal Meninga Cup (U18), Townsville Stingers will go head to head with the Norths Devils after both sides recorded big wins in their respective semi-finals over the weekend. The Cyril Connell Cup (U16) will feature home town favourites the Northern Pride and the Townsville Stingers in an all northern local derby. Kick off times will be confirmed by the QRL tomorrow.
