The Republic of Singapore Navy’s (RSN’s) RSS Intrepid successfully launched an Aster Surface-to-Air Missile today (Singapore time), marking another impressive performance at the Rim of the Pacific exercise 2014. Held off the coast of Hawaii, the multinational exercise brings together 22 countries and 25,000 personnel from around the world for a month-long exercise from 26 Jun to 1 Aug, which included shore planning and sea phases. Besides leading a Combined Task Unit for the second time, the crew of RSS Intrepid also had the chance to commemorate SAF Day in Pearl Harbour! Read about their experience here!
