The Republicans in Congress state that they are going to slash public spending no matter how it affects the economy. They are going to cut everything from infrastructure, law enforcement, health care, education, and they will get rid of the extended unemployment benefits. They seem to have forgotten that under President Obama the deficit has been cut by millions of dollar already; in fact he has reduced the deficit more than any other president, except Bill Clinton who left a surplus – which George Bush spent. I certainly wish the American voter would look at facts and not listen to rhetoric; and put all of these GOP misfits out of office. They are not earning what we are paying them! Let us fire them!
