The Resurrection is Gods final weapon that conquered evil. It’s God’s announcement to rally the Heavenly forces to conquer evil. Living the resurrection is a belief that you have been called to fight like angels against injustice, impoverishment, prejudice, oppression, lovelessness, hopelessness, hatred, and. death. You know that to live resurrection, to see and enact equality and liberation, is to be drawn into a fight you are certain you shall win though you grow weary in well doing. The reason Resurrection stands out in the world is because it is not normal; it makes no true sense in this world. It can’t be commercialized like a Nike swoosh or cross. The Resurrection has nothing to do with humanity. The Resurrection belongs ONLY to a Sovereign God that was determined to conquer evil for once and for all. This act was a message to the hopeless and powerless that God fights through you when you fight for God. Thus, don’t celebrate the Resurrection…LIVE IT!
