The Road to Christmas begins with none other than a young woman named Mary who simply and obediently said, “I am the Lord’s servant, may it be to me as you have said.” What happens when in our circumstances, we in turn say the same? What happens when we like her partner in God’s vision and plan for our lives fully trusting in the face of uncertainties and discrimination? An incomparable blessing occurs that paves the road to our salvation to our very own Christmas. We too will experience the miracle of the Holy Spirit, which will come upon us, and the power of the Most High will overshadow us so we can behold the Son of God in our own arms and look upon the face of God Himself. Yes, the Road to Christmas begins with such a heart, which God highly favors. (Luke 1:26-38)
