The Sacramento Association of Black Social Workers in collaboration with Women for Women, Inc. at the Pre Kwanzaa celebration on December 6 to bring awareness to the Ebola epidemic in Africa. Program was held at the Womens Civic Improvement Center in Sacramento. It was a great time to enjoy and celebrate our African Heritage and culture. The feast, food, blessings and opened speaches was awesome. Women for Women Inc. President, Monah Konuwa and the Sacramento Association of Black Social Workers, President, Arobia Battle have committed to work collectively in the interest of our communities and families especially for our young women, youth and children. President Monah who is an RN and President Arobia Battle, Social Worker both Presidents emphasized on encouraging our younger generation especially our young ladies the importance of education. Program was great with great vendors. We are prepared for Kwanzaa on 12/26/14.
