The Senate has now passed all of the bills that comprise the New York State Senate Womens Equality Agenda, a package of legislation designed to further protect and enhance womens rights in the Empire State. These bills will empower women and break down barriers that perpetuate violence, discrimination and inequality based on gender. It’s time for the Assembly to listen to the calls from women’s advocacy groups and from many Assemblywomen to pass each of these bills immediately.
