The Seventh Pay Commission is undertaking an online survey for inputs and opinions for its report. The survey is open to all individuals and groups. The link to the survey is on the commission official website. It has 15 sections, each having several questions. Section 8 pertains only to the defence forces. It seeks opinions on pay structure, parity with civil services, rationalisation of allowances, pension and benefits to war widows and disabled soldiers. It would be in the interests of the defence forces to participate in the survey extensively and project their aspirations, views and requirements. Answering questions in all sections is mandatory though, along with your brief details. This survey is different from the study on pay commission inputs by CDM Sec’bad. 7cpc.india.gov.in/
