The Sonoma County e-waste event is from 10am to 4pm today at the Wells Fargo Center. Are you ready? Hint, if it’s in a big pile, just load it up. While the reusable items collected at the donation events are sold to benefit Goodwill’s jobs training program, electronic devices are recycled. As electronic devices contain toxic heavy metals, proper and safe recycling must be established for these items. So don’t leave them around collecting dust. Dispose of them at the free e-waste event.
