The South Afrikan embassy has organised a Nelson Mandela commemoration summit for this Wednesday and i have just been informed by the organisers of the International Human Rights Festival that they have been requested to inform me that i am expected by the embassy to give a presentation on the Nelson Mandela legacy. I tried to reason that i am not a member of the ANC, it fell on deaf ears. I made it clear that i am not the right person to give this presentation because it is not possible to talk about Mandela without talking about the ANC, and as a non-member surely i am not qualified to speak on such an issue, it fell on deaf ears. I threatened that if i was given the platform, i would most likely vulgarise ANC history, and that too fell on deaf ears. I suggested that an ANCYL member be flown in to do this, and that too is not entertained. So this presentation will definitely be made. Giving a presentation on the legacy of Nelson Mandela. I am telling you, things are falling apart in my political life. Laaaawd have mercy on my soul...
