The Strawderman House reno of 2015 day 5: Finally to floors! Kinda. Last night with some awesome help from Chris Fann, we successfully installed the ceiling fans and they are beautiful! We were up pretty late so we started a little later today. Steve Strawderman and I were then able to clean up some of the main area, moving out work lights, cleaning the counters, organizing the tools and such to make way for the floors! Joan Glick Strawderman got a second coat of paint on the cabinet units. Jessica Strawderman got a lot done on the doors and trim. Dad and I layed some underlayment and moved on to the new stuff. We got about 3 hours in and realized we did it all backwards. We took it all up and started over. Tired, hungry, and disgruntled, we decided to call it a night and retreat to Golden China for dinner. I am fixing to have a long bubble bath with some good hoppy beers and mindless cell phone games. Meanwhile Jessica is still on her A game and is going to knock out some wall paint tonight. Tomorrow Dad and I are going to hit the ground running and plan to finish the kitchen with the new floors so we can move the appliances back! Till tomorrow folks, my tub is calling me.
