The Streator United Way was able to meet and exceed their goal in this year’s campaign. Overall, the organization was able to reach its $246,371 goal by finishing with $262,413.35. Officials said they were very appreciative for all of the businesses that were able to participate in this year’s campaign, including eleven businesses that had 100 percent participation. The final numbers were presented at an appreciation dinner last Thursday. The money raised will help fund eleven organizations that assist the public in various ways.
