The Sudbury and District Health Unit said that they are investigating a confirmed case of measles in a child. According to health officials, those who visited the following locations at the dates and times listed below may have been exposed the virus: Costco, 1465 Kingsway, April 23 between 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. LaSalle All Day Walk-in Clinic, 1813 LaSalle Blvd., April 24, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Health Sciences North Emergency Department, 41 Ramsey Lake Rd., between 8:30 p.m. April 24 and 4:30 a.m. April 25 Anyone who was at these locations during the timeframes are being asked to check their immunization record to ensure that their children under 18 have received two doses of the measles vaccine. They are also advised to contact the Sudbury and District Health Unit at 705-522-9200. Those who visited the locations outside the dates and hours listed were not exposed to measles, as the virus can only live on surfaces for up to two hours.
