The Supreme Court need to come out clean through judicial pronouncements on some of the knotty issues plaguing the polity before it is too late. The issue of GEJs eligibility and status of defecting members/governors need to be layed to rest once and for all! Assuming(not conceding), they come up with a decision that GEJ is ineligible(not possible though) after the primaries and every every, the whole Country will be plunged into another political crisis. The Court of Appeal has already taken a stance that a defecting member loses his seat, a position recommended by the National Conference. The Supreme Court should either affirm or reverse the decision ASAP lets know where we stand.
