The Teen Gauntlet is THIS Sunday!! Deadline to register is Friday - theteengauntlet/athlete-registration/ Workouts are as follows: Event 1 – 8:00 AMRAP, ascending reps per round 10 double-jump burpees (over and back line on ground) 20 double-unders 12 d-j burpees 24 double-unders 14 d-j burpees 28 double-unders 16 d-j burpees 32 double-unders etc. for 8:00 Score is total reps. Event 2 - Gymnastics bar complex 6:00 AMRAP, complete a complex comprising pull-ups, toes-to-bar, and knees-to-elbows Varsity and JV must complete 2 unbroken rounds of the following to score: 1 toes-to-bar 1 chest-to-bar pull-up 1 knees-to-elbow 1 pull-up Novice must complete 2 unbroken rounds of the following to score: 1 toes-to-bar 1 pull-up 1 knees-to-elbow 1 pull-up Score is 8 points per completed 2-rounder. A partial round can be scored as time expires as long as the athlete remains on the bar with feet off the ground. Event 3 - 10-20-30-meter shuttle sprint Athletes must touch on or over lines except to start and finish the sprint. Score is time to complete (to the nearest hundredth). Event 4 – Last Teen Standing Hang squat clean/thruster and air squat ladder (EMOM) Varsity 1:2 hang squat clean/thruster to squats (95#/65#) JV and Novice 1:4 hang squat clean/thruster to squats (55#/45# and 35#/25#, respectively) Required reps increase each round (ie, each minute) at prescribed ratio (eg, for Varsitys 1:2, round 1 requires 1 hang squat clean/thruster and 2 air squats, round 2 requires 2 hang squat clean/thruster and 4 air squats, etc) Score is total reps.
