I have received a number of comments from Muslims disputing the value of Jewish contributions to western civilization, and who ask, Anyway, who cares about music, plays or movies? OK, I get it, Muslims do not care about having fun, but boycotting anything that originates with Jews can be hazardous to your health. The following was adapted from an Internet email going around and personally verified by me with links to the appropriate authoritative sources. I should mention that the original email, which is carelessly repeated at many websites, has numerous misspellings of last names and incorrect attributions which I [Bernie] have made right in my [Bernies] version. Lets consider Ahmed, a Muslim who wants to avoid Jewish products, discoveries and inventions. If Ahmed ever contracts Syphilis he should not look to be cured by Salvarsan discovered by a Jewish Chemist, Dr. Paul Ehrlich. He should not even bother trying to find out whether he even has Syphilis, because the Wassermann Test is the discovery of a Jew, bacteriologist August von Wassermann. Should Ahmed suspect that he has Gonorrhea, he must not seek diagnosis, because that will require using a test devised by a Jew named Albert Ludwig Sigesmund Neisser. If Ahmed has heart disease, he must not use Digitalis, a discovery made possible by the work of Ludwig Traube, the son of a Jewish wine merchant. Should Ahmed become delirious with a high fever, he will not be able to use the diagnostic detection for typhoid fever because that would require the Widal Test named after Georges-Fernand-Isidor Widal, a Jewish Physician in the field of bacteriology. If Ahmed suffers a toothache, he must insist the dentist not use cocaine as an anesthetic, a property discovered by the Austrian Jewish ophthalmologist, Dr. Karl Koller. Allah forbid if Ahmed has Diabetes, he must not use Insulin, the result of research by Oscar Minkowski, a Jew. If Ahmed ever has convulsions he will have to put up with them because it was a Jew, Oscar Leibreich, who proposed the use of Chloral Hydrate for their amelioration. Ahmed and his fellow Muslims must never use barbiturates as sedatives, hypnotics, anticonvulsants, or as general anesthetics since that would be paying homage to Jewish chemist Adolf von Baeyer who synthesized the drug back in 1864. If Ahmeds children do not get diphtheria, they can thank Bela Schick, the Jew who coordinated the five-year campaign which virtually eliminated the dreaded disease that had taken countless young lives for thousands of years. If Ahmeds children avoid dying or becoming crippled by Infantile Paralysis, they can thank Dr Jonas Salk, another Jew. Ahmed must refuse to use Streptomycin and die of tuberculosis because two Jews, Albert Schatz and Selman Waksman, invented the wonder drug against this killing disease. Ahmed must discard all discoveries, inventions, processes, and improvements by many other world renowned Jewish scientists and medical experts. In short, Ahmed and all good and loyal Muslims must remain properly and fittingly afflicted with Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Heart Disease, Headaches, Typhus, Diabetes, Mental Disorders, Polio, Convulsions and Tuberculosis and all the other ills and thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to, while they proudly boycott the medical beneficence of the hated Jews. That 158 Jews, about 37%, have won the US National Medal of Science. That Jews comprise 30% of the winners of the Kyoto Prize in Advanced Technology. The award (worth approximately $450,000 in cash) is Japans highest private award for human achievement. That between 1886-2000 selfish Jews grabbed 54% of World Chess Championships, leaving little room for others. That Jews have infected almost every nation in the world with their contributions to religion, literature, science, economics, music, arts, and entertainment. I apologize that Jews invented Western Culture that gave us the idea of equality before the law, the sanctity of life, and the dignity of man. That by giving the world the Ten Commandments we all have learned the meaning of individual conscience and social responsibility. That the Jew movie studio moguls, Samuel Goldwyn, Louis B. Mayer, Warner Brothers and Jew movie producers like David O. Selznick ushered in the Golden Age of Hollywood. You couldnt throw a rock in Hollywood then without hitting a Jewish studio chief, producer, directer, agent or film distributor. That Albert Einstein contributed more to the modern vision of physical reality than any person in history. That Sigmund Freud let us know that the unconscious is the source of our motivations. That Jewish financiers, money-lenders and bankers created paper money which made possible all the other great advances of Western Civilization. In Islam, lending money with interest is an abomination. This and other primitive and barbaric ideas from the Quran have resulted in the fewest intellectual achievements in modern times. The efforts of 1.5 billion Muslims have resulted in fewer than a handful of Nobel Laureates, almost zero patents and a pitiable contribution to art, literature, science, music, film, dance, or discovery. It is ironic that the worlds most ignorant, backward, intolerant, and violent culture asks for the annihilation of those who most have brought wisdom, intellectual advancement, tolerance and love of peace to the world. It is impossible to think of how modern civilization would exist without Jews. It is impossible to think of how modern civilization can exist with Muslims.
