The US government expressed its disappointment about the reconciliation pact signed between the two main Palestinian groups of Hamas and Fatah that will led to the formation of a unity government. The US is not happy about this pact, what the US government want to see is Palestinians killing each other. I have my reservations on the two groups-Hamas for embrasing sectarianism and Fatah for abandoning the path of Resistence-but if this pact with strengthen unity between Palestinian factions then it is welcome. The US government will always desire divisions and strife between Palestinians as that will be inline with its doctrine of Divide & Conquer. Western imperialism is so successful in dominating Muslim nations due to the efficiency of the doctrine of Divide & Conquer and their most potent weapon in used today is sectarianism.
