The United States foreign policy cannot afford to loose its hegemony in the Middle East. A two state solution needs a clear support of the Arabs particularly the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the State of Israel. Though, a Republican Foreign policy could have brought a military action on Syria, however the present diplomatic solution has created skepticism amongst many of the U.S. allies in the Middle East including Turkey. In a high level meeting with Foreign Defense officials, the Turkish government showed its dismay over Syria, which was informed to me through personal sources. Loosing Turkey , Saudi Arabia and the GCC will hit the U.S. economy and the U.S.dollar. Obviously, it could benefit the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). The Congress needs to take a serious initiative to deal with a new situation, said Professor Dr. Gholam Mujtaba, a Central Leader of the Republican Party of the United States.
