The Universe will always give you what you need, even if, in the moment, it is the last thing that you want. That pretty much sums up this week (year?). Times have been tough, but my soul feels light. I am grateful for the friends I have recently acquired; without them, my heart may not be smiling today. I am grateful for the friends I am without; it is because of your absences that I searched for new connections and broadened my emotional, spiritual, and practical horizons. Long story short, even though I have had quite a tough time emotionally and medically these past 9 months, I am forever grateful. Grateful that I am conscious of my decisions and can freely choose which direction to take; grateful that I was raised in a nation which, although I may not agree with many aspects of its politics, has granted me the ability to learn about my body and myself without fear of legal repercussions; grateful that I have found a circle of people willing to support me in every decision (no matter how outlandish or illogical); basically, I am grateful for You. I am grateful for Me. I am grateful for everything--good, bad, indifferent-- I am grateful to be typing my problems into a computer, for the world to see and criticize. Thank you, Universe, for being born. Without you (legit), none of this nonsense would be possible.
