The Valhalla Fire Department as well as Valhalla VAC were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area of 6 Leroy Ave. The one car accident happened when the driver lost control of the vehicle on Lakeview Ave and hit a wall. The car then proceeded down a hill and into a neighboring backyard on Leroy Ave. narrowly missing a house. Fire crews assisted EMS with transporting the patient to the ambulance as well as stood by until the vehicle was removed by a tow truck. The patient was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
