The VeeJay Little Richards were always a mixed bag as many were covers and frankly not particularly good. This Charly (CD No.5121932) release gathers together all the late numbers and for a bonus they have picked up a couple of tracks that were not on VeeJay. On the other hand Little Richard records are always interesting for the connoisseur who needs to have everything. These recordings have been out before in various disguises but never have they been sold with what appears to be a pink pound biased. CD one is coloured turquoise and the second one is a pretty pink - Richard will be pleased.
