The Warriors are awesome. They are a fleet of shining death machines. They are speed and light and accuracy and efficiency and selflessness and intelligence. Their defense swarms you like a hive of robot insects, their offense swoops in and picks you apart like a riptide. Their help defense is disciplined, their footwork active, their interior contests like challenging gigantic columns, even when Andrew Bogut is out. They look for the outlet pass and hardly ever turn it over. They anticipate passes and when they catch you in disarray trying to get back on defense, their shooters slip into the crevices and then spring out 3-pointers like rattlesnakes. Golden State dissects you like kids in 8th grade biology, and they run over you like that herd of wildebeests in The Lion King. Draymond Green is hitting jumpers off the dribble. The Warriors ran an out of bounds play that lead to a 28-foot three, and it was a phenomenal look, because of Stephen Curry. Marreese Speights is the evolutionary advancement of Andray Blatche, Shaun Livingston is like Andre Miller if he were alive, and there are no discernible weaknesses. They lead the league in winning percentage and are now 20-2, after Saturdays win. They are 12.6 points points per 100 possessions better than their opponent. The gap between their net points per possession and the second-best team, the Mavericks, is as wide as the gap between the Mavericks and the No. 12 team on that list. They are dominant, they are intelligent, they are efficient, and they are special. They beat the Mavericks by seven, but really, this thing ended after a 39-18 first quarter. Dallas never recovered. The Warriors are good.
